Manor, one of Humphrey Management\u2019s thriving communities located in Fort Washington, Maryland, is partnering with an urban youth ministry called City Gate. \u00a0The non-profit runs a program called \u201cOut-of-School-Time\u201d at the family community.\u00a0 Currently, 20-25 children &amp; youth are participating in this new program that began at the community in November of 2013.\u00a0 City Gate volunteers help students with homework, teach computer skills, assist with reading, and engage participants in fun science activities.\u00a0 The program is for students from 5-18 years of age.<\/p>\n<p>City Gate comes to Henson Creek Manor two days per week, Mondays &amp; Thursdays, and uses the community clubhouse for the activities.\u00a0 The group is also giving away free turkeys for Thanksgiving to residents who have signed up.<\/p>\n<p>City Gate is a Washington, D.C. ministry, formed in 2001 by the sponsorship of Calvary Baptist Church.\u00a0 The program is currently located
