Unlike many business management positions, property managers are not required to have a college degree, but they do need experience. Many apartment community managers start their career in property management as a leasing professional, move up to an assistant community manager, and then are promoted to the community manager position.<\/p>\n

Humphrey Management, like many property management companies, promotes from within. Most of our community managers started in entry-level positions, and through in-house, on-the-job, and industry trainings, have been promoted to the community manager position.<\/p>\n

So what are some of the qualifications that are necessary to succeed as a community manager? Community managers need to have good communication, computer, writing, leadership, and financial skills.<\/p>\n
