I want to recognize Service Technician at Franklin Manor for exemplifying Foundations #2 and 4:
Foundation #2: We are known for our service to our residents and each other. Our Service Commitments are the basis for our interactions with our customers and each other.
Foundation #4: Innovation is vital to our competitive advantage. We are expected to generate and share new ideas that enable us to increase income, decrease expenses, compete better and improve our services.
On December 22, 2015 Franklin Manor had a major sewer backup. Duane found a patch of ground that was wet behind the building in question. He dug a ditch around the pipe until it was exposed and found out a connector joint had come un-done. He ran a commercial auger down the drain and was able to fix the clog in the sewer line.
The Service Tech had a serious situation where a whole building was backed up right before the holidays and he was able to step in and take charge of the situation and have the whole building up and running again before the end of the work day.
