Humphrey Management continues our support for the third year to a record number of not-for-profit groups in the neighborhoods of our over 50 apartment home communities in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Our team members look forward to serving in the company’s Community Connection program when they roll up their sleeves to directly assist these numerous organizations, which provide year-round services to our neighbors and many of our residents.
Whether assisting the graduating seniors at Bowie High School to prepare for their matriculation ceremony or painting and cleaning a women’s shelter for the United Communities Against Poverty in Landover, picking up trash and gardening along the Rainbow Lake Trail in Emmitsburg, or sorting and boxing food with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, our team members performed a variety of services with great enthusiasm and commitment based on the needs of the organization.
In total, Humphrey devoted over 1,260 hours of community service during the month of May. It was our pleasure to work with each of these agencies and their dedicated staff members who facilitated productive work opportunities so that our experiences with them were most meaningful for everyone.
